The Inverness Condominiums, located in the Cherokee Triangle Preservation District, opened in 1929 as the Charles P. Moorman Home for Women. It is being transformed into elegant residential condos by Joseph & Joseph Architects and a Louisville couple who travel often to Britain and lived there for a time. Their love of Scotland inspired the name The Inverness.

Inverness is a lovely city in the Highlands area of Scotland. It's an exceptional, welcoming place; the 'in' place to be; where there's a real buzz to life and work. The city of Inverness is open to new ideas, new people and new businesses. Sounds like Louisville's Highlands and the elegant new condos called The Inverness!
